Exciting news…for one night only, Friska at 70 Queens Road will be holding a supper club evening, priced at £10 for just two dishes.
Head Kitchen Cowboy Al will be dishing up a choice of three mains and two sweets, which you’ll be able to accompany with a cooling jug of Pimms (perfect in this heat!!) or great beers from Tiny Rebel and Wild Beer.
The menu for the supper club reads as follows…
Mains:
Sandridge Farm twice-cooked pork with apple and anise puree, black pudding potatoes, Butt Rub sauce
Fish chowder – gurnard, Severn and Wye smoked mussels, roast sweetcorn and broad bean pesto
Sambar – butternut, coconut and sweet potato puree, lentil, coconut and coriander salad, mango, mustard and butternut seed chutney
Sweets
Summer fruit pudding with yoghurt sorbet
Malted nut and Muscovado torte with mozzo coffee caramel and Welsh vanilla ice cream
