At the start of the month, Bristol local Mary Gomm experienced a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend an exclusive, intimate performance by jazz artist Jamie Cullum followed by a dinner created by Michelin star French chef Raymond Blanc, courtesy of Martell Cognac.
Mary beat off thousands of entries to win this fantastic prize, where she and one other winner travelled to the Martell Chateau in Cognac, France, to enjoy the ultimate Martell Very Special Night with delicious French food from a menu designed by Raymond Blanc, an intimate music performance by award winning musician Jamie Cullum and cognac from Martell.
Martell Very Special Nights provides the ingredients for a perfect evening – delicious food, award-winning music and special cognac drinks. Throughout the year people have been able to experience these special events at various venues, culminating in two lucky winners receiving this once in a lifetime trip to France.
Mary stayed at the Martell Chateau, home of Martell Cognac the oldest major cognac house in the world. The Chateau is a private residence and has been home to the Martell family for over 200 years. The Chateau does not open to the public and only welcomes special guests of Martell to stay at this exclusive location.
