Nigella Lawson book signing, Hall & Woodhouse, Bath, November 13th

Spread the love

Domestic goddess Nigella Lawson will be holding a book signing at Hall & Woodhouse in Bath (1 Old King Street) to celebrate the launch of her new book Nigellissima; featuring delicious Italian inspired dishes such as Venetian stew, chilli crab risotto and amaretto semifredo. Nigella is also known to include beer in her recipes – beer braised pork knuckles and beer gingerbread for example – so the team at Hall & Woodhouse will certainly be offering her a bottle or two of Badger Ales to take away.

Nigella is visiting as the guest of the book shop, Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights, which is just around the corner from Hall & Woodhouse, and a team from the bookshop will be on hand with copies of Nigellissima ready to be signed from 1-2.30pm.

Kate Double, Assistant Manager at Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights, explains: “We are all such huge fans of Nigella, so we’re over the moon that we are able to bring her to Bath to meet fans of her work. We are anticipating a very high turnout for the event, so we thought we would pop over to our neighbours at Hall & Woodhouse, to allow everyone a little more space and a chance to grab a spot of lunch if they build up an appetite studying Nigella’s new book!”

Stuwart Skeels, Manager at Hall & Woodhouse comments: “You can imagine that our team is – to put it bluntly – breathless about meeting Nigella!  When the team from Mr B’s asked us to host the signing we jumped at the chance as this as a real coup for Bath – Nigella has such a following from people who love her relaxed style of cooking and her glamour –  we’re sure Bath will give her a truly warm welcome.”

Due to time constraints Nigella will only be signing copies of Nigellissima purchased from Mr B’s, these are available in advance from the store, online at www.mrbsemporium.com, or at Hall & Woodhouse on the day, all at the special reduced price of £20.
