Another great offer exclusively for Bristol Bites readers!
The Bristol Home & Food Festival, now in its second year, will be coming to the brand new UWE Exhibition & Conference Centre in Frenchay this October 27th and 28th. Organised by Nationwide Exhibitions, the festival will showcase the very best that Bristol has to offer, including great items from local food producers, homewares, and demonstrations from celebrity chefs.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy live cookery demonstrations by two Michelin starred TV chef Martin Blunos and other top local chefs including Toby Gritten (The Pumphouse and Bird in Hand), Chris Wicks (Bell’s Diner and Berwick Lodge) and the team from The Star and Dove.
In addition, local producers will be holding an array of contemporary food and drink master classes in the demonstration theatres. These will include a session on Keeve fermented cider, a demonstration of organic juice production by multiple Great Taste Gold Award-winning Lovely Drinks as well as a sherry tasting session hosted by Harveys Cellar Bar (home of Harveys Bristol Cream).
Food isn’t the only item on the agenda: Visitors will find a fantastic range of quality companies showcasing new and innovative ways to improve the home. Exhibitors will range from external security solutions to beautiful granite work surfaces and the latest home entertainment systems. There will also be eco-friendly solutions for water and energy!
Visitors to The Bristol Home and Food Festival will be able to browse, sample and experience the best exhibitors Bristol and the West have to offer such as Neal’s Yard, Maison Bijou, and Teme Valley Beds.
Entry to The Bristol Home and Food Festival is normally £8, with the event taking place on 27-28th October at the UWE Exhibition & Conference Centre, adjacent to the University’s Frenchay Campus. HOWEVER…we’ve managed to secure a deal that gives Bristol Bites readers two-for-one tickets, simply by entering the word bites in the offer code box when buying online via this link.
It looks to be a fantastic event – for more news about the show, follow them on Twittter at @homefoodfest or “like” their Facebook page.
