Love Food Festival returns to its much-loved Bristol home after a hugely successful tour of the South West. They invite you to come and celebrate at their end of term summer party on Sunday July 15th from 10.30am to 4pm at Paintworks.
The huge indoor market will be crammed full of delicious produce including organic meat, award winning pies, chutneys, jams, freshly baked bread, olives, Swedish cakes from local ladies ‘Fika’, artisan cheeses, local chilli sauce, charcuterie, some Greek delicacies from ‘Meze Meze’ and refreshing herbal teas from ‘Sherston Tea’. The new and exciting ‘Spoon Fools’ will be providing some literary themed cakes such as Alice in Wonderland’s Earl Grey loaf cake with hot buttered toast icing.
Outside you can enjoy a vast array of delicious hot food including award winning hot-dogs, cooling ice-creams, sizzling seafood paellas, Thai street food, Jerk chicken and more. There will of course be a selection of great local ale and cider on offer in the picnic area, accompanied by Love Food’s much-loved soundtrack.
Local growers ‘Glenhalme Herbs’ will be on hand with a vast array of medicinal and culinary herbs and salads for your garden along with a wealth of advice on caring for these plants.
Natural therapies and beauty products will be available for those who are in need of a little quiet time, with handmade soaps, massages and nutrition advice on offer.
Children are also catered for, with a fantastic Punch and Judy show being put on to delight and entertain the younger ones, balloon modelling, magic shows and some very knicker-bocker glory making for anyone who likes ice-cream!
