It’s almost time for the next Bishopston Supper Club/Grape & Grind wine dinner, taking place on Saturday, February 25th.
Bishopston-based chef Danielle hosts regular supper club evenings in her own home, and after previous successful dinners paired with independent wine merchant Grape & Grind’s wines, has scheduled in another for next month.
A glass of wine is served alongside each course, with the wines and dishes for the evening detailed below:
Aperitif – Quince Bellini
Jerusalem artichoke soup, truffle oil – Yves Cuilleron Viognier, Rhone Valley 2010
Herb-crusted cod, shrimps, cullen skink – Franck Decrenisse Coteaux du Lyonnais Vieilles Vignes 2010
Onglet, peppercorn sauce, salsify, kale – Vina von Siebenthal Parcela #7 Gran Reserva, Aconcagua 2008
Chocolate and sour cherry pudding, salt caramel ice cream – Saint Roch Maury 2004

Tickets are priced at £45 per head for the evening, with spaces limited. On this occasion, a deposit of £15 will need to be made to Grape & Grind, with the remaining £30 to be paid on the night.
