Like a side of burgers with your bowling? Then you’ll love the fact that legendary burger joint, Fat Hippo, is opening a concession within Bristol’s Lane7 next week, with its first day on Friday, November 25th.
Lane7 first opened on Millennium Promenade in mid-2021, their food offering provided by Burger Theory. Now, though, it’s the turn of Fat Hippo, who pride themselves on their “‘good old fashioned, roll up your sleeves and get it all over your face’ food”.
Since their beginnings in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2010, the burger chain has expanded across the UK – Bristol is its 16th site, Their Bristol menu includes beef, chicken and vegan burgers, each burger including a portion of hand-cut fries and with prices starting from around £12. These are proper “dirty burgers”, ranging from the classic American (double patty, American cheese, pickles, ketchup and American mustard), to choices like the PB&JJ (double patty, American cheese, chunky peanut butter, bacon jam and smoked chilli jello).
There’s a kids’ menu on offer too: £7 will get those aged 12 and under their choice of burger with two toppings, one sauce, a salad garnish and one side. There are also festive specials on offer as we approach Christmas…
