Get gruesome this Halloween with the launch of the Deliveroo Demonic Butchery and Pie Emporium – London-based but available for delivery in Bristol.
The Deliveroo Demonic Butchery and Pie Emporium has been launched in London’s Fleet Street, bringing the pages of Charles Dickens and a Penny Dreadful to life. The interactive shop front includes workable buttons that light up, smoke machine and a bluetooth speaker for consumer instructions. From Friday, October 29th until Sunday, October 31st, Deliveroo customers in central London can get their hands on hundreds of free pies by simply turning up…but if you can’t get there, you can still order via Editions on Deliveroo in Bristol – as well as Manchester and London.
Priced at £1.75 each (to mark 175 years since Fleet Street’s demon barber, Sweeney Todd, was first written about), the pies will be available from 11am on October 29th until Halloween. There are three different varieties: beef, bone marrow & stout; chicken, smoked ham hock & leek; and mushroom stroganoff with garlic, smoked paprika, and oat milk creme fraiche (vegan).
As you’ll see from the photo, these are pies that are designed to taste amazing while making your skin crawl. Customers can eat their way through “body parts” made from sweet and savoury fondant, with eyes, thumbs and bones poking out of the pies to pay homage to Fleet Street’s frightening and infamous history.
Visit Deliveroo from 11am on October 29th to get in on the action!
