Bath Ales is delighted to announce the launch of “The Loyal Hare Force”, their aptly named loyalty scheme. It’s one of the first of its kind for a small brewery with a modest pub estate. The loyalty scheme will see Bath Ales providing customers with an added reason to visit a Bath Ales pub using their reward card, because they collect points for every £1 spent, which can be redeemed to save money off food and drink in the participating Bath Ales pubs…
The introduction of the scheme was made possible after the installation of a sophisticated till system, provided by IBS (Intelligent Business Systems), which enables a completely automated system of accruing and redeeming points by swiping the loyalty card with a magnetic strip, which contains the
customer’s information. As it operates in real time, it would for example be possible to accrue points in the Hare on the Hill, and redeem them later that night in The Wellington.
Robin Couling, Bath Ales’ Retail Director said: “It’s fantastic that we are able to offer this scheme to our customers. It’s a way of saying “Thank You” for visiting our pubs. We think that our customers will find the cards easy to use and the back office system is so sophisticated, it will provide us with a unique insight into what our customers like so that we can continue providing the kind of quality they have come to expect from Bath Ales.” He continued to say: “The pubs sector is still under pressure and the recent duty increase certainly hasn’t helped but this is our way of giving something back.”
