When it comes to aptly named venues, the team behind SmokeFest couldn’t have picked a better venue than the Tobacco Factory for their BBQ festival on July 13th.
The “wood-fired BBQ extravaganza”, presented by Southern Smokers, will take place from 12pm to 10pm on Saturday, July 13th. And now that the Grillstock festival has gone for good, it’s going to be nice to welcome a new event that focuses on great BBQ.
There will be plenty to do, see, eat and drink on the day. Expect live wood-fired BBQ traders, craft beers, live music, DJ, chilli product vendors, children’s entertainment and bourbon cocktails, along with demos from Southern Smokers themselves, and the chance to win prizes worth £1,000. They also promise that the event is vegan-friendly, too.
So far, food and drink businesses confirmed to be there on the day include Asado, Bun Fiction, Embers & Vine, Jamaica Street Stores, Pearly King Cake, Smoke Catering, Sosij, Tasty Ragga, GingerBeard’s Preserves and Timmy’s Chillies.
