Eat A Pitta Broadmead Reopening

After a five-week closure, Eat A Pitta at Kiosk 3 in Broadmead will be reopening Wednesday, May 22nd – and it promises to be better than ever.

Working with the team at Shape Studio, Dan Levy and his Eat A Pitta team have created a venue that will be “more than just a shop, it’s an experience! When you visit us, you will be transported across the Mediterranean and into the backstreets of Marrakech as you ‘eat your pitta’ amongst a riot of shapes, colours and fabrics”.

Founded in 2011, Eat A Pitta now has four locations across Bristol: St Nick’s Market, Gloucester Road, Queens Road, and Broadmead. Keen to develop their brand, the quality of their offering and the spaces they serve from, they decided it was time to redevelop their flagship Broadmead store.

You’ll be able to visit the new store for yourself on Wednesday, May 22nd, as it’ll be open from 11am to 8pm. And there’ll be new additions to the menu, too: fresh juices, new salad options and new sauces will all make an appearance. Their salad boxes, juice cups, straws and forks – and now also their takeaway bags – are all fully compostable, and Eat A Pitta are doing their bit for food waste, too, with their partnership with TooGoodToGo.

What’s more, on the opening day there’ll be a live band playing – and a 50% customer discount on everything Eat A Pitta’s Broadmead kiosk sells on the day. Any profits that are made on that day will go towards the business’ fundraising drive for Bristol Children’s Hospital which is happening throughout June and July, with the funds being used to buy presents and toys for the hospital’s patients.
