This spring, North Street will become home to Bristol’s first vegan deli and café, when FLIP opens its doors at no. 81.
Formerly home to Eastern Tandoori, the building on the corner of North Street and Melville Terrace will be transformed into another new independent food and drink place for BS3, joining nearby Vx Bristol and Earthcake to increase the number of the area’s 100% vegan venues still further.
FLIP will be working with small, independent Bristol-based producers to create not only exciting vegan dishes to eat in, but also to bring together a varied selection of plant-based treats to take away. And there will be a strong commitment to sustainability too, with only compostable or reusable packaging for takeaway food and drink, and the aim of being plastic-free.
Set to open in April 2019, FLIP’s trading hours will be Tuesday to Sunday, 8.30am to 6pm. You can find out more about their progress on their website or via Facebook or Twitter.
