The Whisky Bristol Underground festival returns by popular demand to go beneath the surface with whisky once again this September at a dramatic and mysterious city centre venue, featuring the iconic architecture of the legendary Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

On Saturday, September 8th, immerse yourself once again in a cavernous underground world of whisky wonder at Whisky Bristol Underground at The Loco Klub beneath the Passenger Shed, where leading whisky brands from across the globe will be lining the historic rail arches with their finest wares.

The festival is run by Amy Seton and the Whisky Bristol team. Amy Seton, aka “The Whisky Miss”, is an organiser of internationally recognised whisky events and is the owner of Whisky Clubs Group.

Whisky Bristol is a whisky tasting events company who host tastings at various locations across the city. Some of the brands they have welcomed to the city include Kilchoman, Glenfarclas, Compass Box and Mackmyra.

Amy says, “Bristol is such a lively and creative city with a wealth of exceptional and successful independents within the food and drinks scene. We wanted to give local whisky lovers an occasion where they can experience fantastic whiskies in a true festival atmosphere whilst keeping within the cities style. That’s why we chose to host the event in such an interesting venue that helps represent the heart of Bristol.”

Whisky Bristol Underground will not only give whisky lovers the opportunity to taste a wide range of incredible spirits from the world’s top whisky brands, but will also provide a great festival experience with live music, street food vendors, cigar workshops and a series of tasting masterclasses featuring collaborations between famous whisky brands and Bristol’s legendary artisanal food makers.

Scotch and world whisky brands already confirmed include Glenfarclas, Highland Park, Murray McDavid, Paul John, Nikka, GlenGlassaugh, Gordon & Macphail and Cotswolds Whisky.

Masterclasses include whisky and cigar pairings with Davidoff cigars as well as three other brand-led tastings.

Tickets are already on sale at www.whiskybristol.co.uk for only £35. You can also follow the festival on Facebook and Twitter for further updates…
