There’s a new cocktail and pool bar opening on Corn Street: Felson’s will open above Walkabout on Friday, May 4th.
Its name inspired by pool hustler Fast Eddie Felson from book and film The Hustler, Felson’s is part of the Stonehouse Pub Company, the name behind brands such as Slug & Lettuce, Walkabout and Yates.
There’ll be images of Eddie throughout the bar with his one-liners featured on menus, chalkboards and the backs of the toilet doors too.
The focus of Felson’s is twofold: it’s not just about the food and drink, but the pool too. Featuring multiple pool tables, there will be all sorts of packages available to book.
On the drinks front, expect cocktails like the Salted Caramel Flip (Gosling’s Seal Dark Rum, Licor 43 and caramel), along with wines, spirits and a decent range of craft beers. When it comes to the food, the menu features burgers, sandwiches, nachos, chicken wings and other US-inspired classics.
On Friday, May 4th, Felson’s will be hosting a VIP evening complete with pool trick shot performers, Gatsby stilt walkers and sax players – to get on the guest list or to book a table, e-mail felsons.bristol@stonegatepubs.com.
Felson’s Bristol will be open from 10am to 2am, Monday to Sunday. To find out more, visit their website, or follow them on Facebook or Instagram.
