The Arnolfini Café has extended its opening hours to include an evening menu, with head chef Iza Palicka creating a menu of warming house-made comfort foods.
The waterfront venue is now serving up dishes such as beef goulash with knedle dumplings and winter leaf salad (£9.50), beetroot, bulgur and walnut burger with mint yoghurt, avocado, fries and salad (£9.50), za’atar halloumi and couscous salad with pomegranate and tahini dressing (£8.50) from Thursday – Saturday, 12pm – 9pm with the bar open until 11pm.
Iza was previously in the kitchens at the Watershed and the Tobacco Factory, and wanted to create a menu that was cosy, comforting and delicious for the Arnolfini evening crowd to enjoy, alongside Bristol Beer Factory’s brews. It’s also a menu that caters to all dietary requirements.
Bristol Beer Factory at the Arnolfini Café is open from:
Tuesday – Saturday 9am-11pm
Sunday & Monday 9am-6pm
Kitchen opening times are:
Sunday – Wednesday 10am-4pm
Thursday – Saturday 10am-9pm
On weekdays the café serves up breakfast until 12noon with homemade vegan granola (£4.50), soy yoghurt and fruit compote, and toast & toppings from homemade spicy baked beans & spinach to sliced avocado & roast tomatoes on the menu from £4.50. Saturdays and Sundays include the addition of The ‘fini Full English (£10.50) and The Veggie ‘fini breakfast (£9), served until 1pm.
At lunch, diners can choose soup with Joe’s Bakery sourdough or house-made gluten-free bread, and door-stop sandwiches of home-made focaccia with daily changing fillings but always meat, veggie and vegan options on the menu.
The Arnolfini’s bar serves Bristol Beer Factory’s ales and stouts on draft and by the bottle (tasting boards are available at the bar for £4 too), alongside other Bristol-brewed bottled beers, wines, North Street Cider and spirits.
