The Old Market Assembly is celebrating the start of summer (and their brand new roof terrace!) with a BBQ party this weekend.
The team have been busy finishing the final details on their rooftop terrace bar, ready to open in time for summer.
To celebrate they are throwing a party this Saturday, 14th May and everyone is invited. The kitchen will be firing up the terrace grill for a BBQ feast, while party goers will also be able to enjoy a selection of cocktails and al fresco live music from The Carry Nations.
The terrace is one of the final parts of the venue to be transformed, completing the renovation of the former Victorian bank building, last inhabited by Flamingo’s Nightclub. Weather forecasts for the weekend are looking good, although cover is available should the rain continue…
The event is completely free to attend, and will run from 1pm – 6pm with live music starting at 3pm.
