After months of renovation, the Brigstow Bar and Kitchen is opening its doors next week.

Located on the Harbourside, opposite the ss Great Britain, the Brigstow Bar and Kitchen will serve craft beer and an impressive gin list to enjoy by the water. Chef Andy Clatworthy, formerly of The Rummer, will also be bringing inventive seasonal food to the harbourside.

The venue’s new look will feature copper and burnt wood effects and will include a huge patio by the water, making it a sun trap by day, and aiming to be a destination food venue in the evening. Owner Natasha Pierce said “We want the Brigstow to be a cosy bar restaurant that splashes into the harbourside area during the summer. With the team already in place and a stunning new look, we want it to be fun but intimate and fantastic quality. After months of closure, the site deserves the best.”

Seasonal and local food will be featured on the menu, and plans are for the Brigstow to be much more than the café bar that it started life as a year ago. It will be open throughout the day for lunch in the small plates format, and include an evening menu that is Scandinavian-inspired and will change monthly.
