If you are looking for something a bit different from a trip within the UK, Bristol could be a great location to pick. The city is full of unusual experiences, such as these unique eateries.

1. Wiff Waff Ping Pong Noshery

The Wiff Waff Ping Pong Noshery is definitely one of Bristol’s more eye-opening eating houses. The menu is full of meals and drinks made from ingredients that have been sourced locally, while the modern layout and design of the building adds further unique charm. However, aside from the excellent food, it is the presence of ping pong tables that stands out. Here you can have a friendly ping pong game while you wait for your meal to be served, or to help digest it afterwards.

2. Steak of the Art

The name of this Bristol restaurant is not just a groan-inducing pun – you will actually find an art gallery on the premises. This is housed in a room separate from the main restaurant and includes works by some of the top artists in the UK. Another unique feature is the fact that, should you take a liking to any of its bespoke furnishings, you can order your own – which will be made especially for you. The actual food is pretty good too, with the steak selections – including fillet and ribeye – being particularly recommended.

3. Za Za Bazaar

This is the country’s largest restaurant and offers a broad choice of cuisine. Operating on a buffet basis, it offers all-you-can-eat Thai, Indian, Tex-Mex, British and Italian food (even all of them together if your stomach can take it). Making this place even more unusual are the accompanying colourful banners, pop tunes and flashing lights, making this a great place to take children or hold a party.

4. Rainbow Casino

This is one of Bristol’s most popular casinos and is also home to an impressive restaurant. It offers both British and continental cuisine – with highlights including the hand battered fish and chips and the chicken tikka makhani – making it the ideal way to end an evening’s slot or table gaming. You can even carry on your casino spree in your hotel room by playing mobile blackjack on sites like MobileCasinoAustralia wherever you are.

5. Tobacco Factory Café Bar

Don’t worry – the smoking ban is observed here. What gives this café-bar its name is the Tobacco Factory Theatre, located adjacent to it. Here you will often find your meal accompanied by free Spanish rhumba or jazz guitar performances, while the menu offers wonderful Mediterranean meals. It has a lazy atmosphere perfect for romantic meals, while the theatre next door makes planning the rest of the evening easy.

There are lots of fun places to eat in Bristol, if you do a little research.
