Following the success of their first two city centre locations, Eat A Pitta will be opening branch number 3 on Gloucester Road on Saturday, November 28th.
The new store will be opening at 67a Gloucester Road, formerly a nail salon and located on the corner next to the Hobgoblin. It’ll still be a nice small site that stays true to the brand’s “street food” identity: split between two levels, there will be seating for around 16 people on the first floor.
Owner Dan Levy is a former Gloucester Road resident, so the site is close to his heart. He says, “In a nutshell, we feel Gloucester Road represents quality, authenticity and locality. These are all attributes that we strongly identify with, so we believe we have the makings of a long and lasting relationship with the great people of Bishopston and beyond.”
Instead of special offers and discounts on their first day of trading on Gloucester Road, Eat A Pitta will be giving back to the community. All profits from the opening day on November 28th will be donated to the Gloucester Road branch of St Peter’s Hospice – what better reason to head over to Gloucester Road and enjoy some great local falafel, hummus and pitta bread this weekend?
