Romy’s Kitchen in Thornbury will be hosting a pop-up supper from BBC Radio Ulster Resident Chef Paula McIntyre on the evening of Monday, November 23rd.
The seven course tasting menu will begin at 7pm, with Chef McIntyre using the finest Northern Irish ingredients to create her dishes. Priced at £35 per head, tickets can be booked by calling 01454 416728, or emailing eat@romyskitchen.co.uk.
The menu for the evening reads as follows…
Northern Irish crisp guanciale salad with date chutney, Caerphilly cheese and saffron with soda bread croutons
Salmon Tarator (salmon with tahini yoghurt layer, and topped with toasted walnuts, dehydrated onion, cumin, pomegranate molasses and mint) with pickled and roast carrots
County Antrim Shorthorn beef and potato pie with spices – hanger steak infused with spices, slowly cooked with potatoes and encased in a crisp potato crust
Tomato, baked onion and lovage gratin
Spiced beetroot salad
Hot buttered radishes with smoked black pepper
Spiced apple cake, apple chiboust rolled in gingerbread crumbs and apple, cider gel
