The Harbourside Market has big plans this Christmas. Working in collaboration with At-Bristol Science Centre, they will run a festive market snaking around Bristol’s historic Harbourside from the Cascade Steps, along the covered walkway, through Anchor Square to the At-Bristol ice rink in Millennium Square. They have now opened applications for the very best local traders to bring this city centre market to life.
Building on the success of last year, which saw over 30,000 skaters flock to the area, The Harbourside Christmas Market will help make the harbour a go-to festive destination for locals and visitors with live music, choirs, mulled treats, blankets, fire pits and beautiful decorations to run alongside up to 100 top notch stalls.
They want to promote the creativity and personality you can find across Bristol with the very best artists, street food, producers, designers and makers selling their wares every Saturday and Sunday for four weekends in the build up to Christmas.
Market Manager, James Coomber, commented, “As Bristol’s year as Green Capital draws to an end, The Harbourside Christmas Market will be fantastic opportunity to showcase the creativity from local businesses and offer an independent alternative to the high street”
The Harbourside Christmas Market is particularly keen to hear from traders who share their sustainable, ethical outlook to ensure the market is as green as it is the rest of the year.
