Cotham Hill tapas bar Bravas has now launched a brand new lunch menu, bringing Spanish-style sandwiches to Bristol diners.
Served from 11.30am Tuesday to Saturday, the lunch menu includes both Bravas’ existing high quality tapas menu and the new addition of bocadillos: Spanish-style sandwiches containing a variety of fillings.
Bravas owners Kieran and Imogen first discovered bocadillos while sitting in the sun at pavement tables in Spain, feasting on soft bread stuffed with manchego and jamon and oozing with olive oil. They loved them so much that they decided to bring them home to Bristol, sharing their discovery with lunchtime diners.
At Bravas, they’ll be pairing cured meats and cheeses with piquillo peppers, Gordal olives and aioli, all served on ciabatta that is freshly baked in-house. They’ll also be asking those who order the bocadillos for their feedback: customer feedback has been important to the pair since their beginnings as a supper club, and continues to be vital in order to help them to improve.
What’s more, Bravas will be offering half price bocadillos during July – an even better reason to head on over and give them a try!
