From the company that brought you “The Beast” – a 4.5lb burger with chips and coleslaw – comes a new food challenge in the form of The Chilli Dog Of Doom.
Warren’s Gourmet Burger Company in St Annes challenge diners to take down the mammoth chilli dog in 45 minutes or under to get their meal for free and their name on the Wall Of Fame – as well as gaining plenty of kudos.
Eating a chilli dog in that space of time sounds easy…but the word “Doom” in the title gives an indication as to what to expect. Those who take part will be chowing down on a 2 foot baguette, stuffed with three jumbo hot dogs, and topped with chilli con carne, cheese, jalapeños and sour cream.
Still sound manageable? Well, you the challenge also includes a side order of chips to ensure that you’re well and truly stuffed.

The challenge is available from Monday, October 7th, by pre-order only. If you don’t manage to complete the challenge, The Chilli Dog Of Doom will set you back £20 during the week and £25 on Saturdays or Sundays…is anyone brave enough to tackle it…?
