Have you heard of Sublime?
While flavoured butters are everywhere now, it was Sublime who actually created the category around seven years ago, receiving the Dairy Innovation Award as a result.
Using just grass-fed British dairy cream and salt as a base (no stabilisers, fillers or E numbers) they create a wide variety of exciting, deliciously flavoured butters for all sorts of culinary uses.
There’s the classic No.5 Garlic & Herb butter, of course, along with No. 19 – Bearnaise butter – which is a great addition to steak without the hassle of making a Bearnaise sauce from scratch. No.12 – Truffle, Parmesan & Black Pepper – is great stirred through mashed potato or used in your scrambled eggs on toast, while No.11 – Lemon, Caper & Dill – is the perfect pairing for all sorts of fish dishes.
