On Saturday, July 1st, GO Outdoors in Brislington is having a celebratory opening event to show off its recent refurb – with goody bags, vouchers and a celebrity guest.
At 9am on July 1st, TV presenter and outdoor enthusiast Gethin Jones will be cutting the ribbon to officially open the store. There will be £20 GO Outdoors gift vouchers on offer for the first 200 customers, with a free goody bag for the next 100 customers. Visitors to the Brislington store can also expect a prize raffle, as well as entertainment – including a DJ and a balloon modeller – for children.
The 35,000 square foot store has plenty of free parking, and stocks everything from tents and camping equipment to waterproof jackets, walking boots, rucksacks and more. As a result of the refurb it also has new Naylors equestrian and Bike 365 concessions, as well as a refreshed Fishing Republic department. It also offers various services, including boot and rucksack fitting, plus a drop-off point for Evri, UPS and DPD parcels.
It’s that time of year when thoughts turn to outdoor dining and GO Outdoors Brislington is pretty impressively stocked on that front, too! I headed over this week to check out their range of BBQ equipment, al fresco dining kit, camping stoves and adventure food, picnic tables and blankets, camping chairs, cool boxes and more – they’ve got some great special offers on at the moment, too!
