Head to Crosstown Bristol at 21 Queens Road from April 12th and you’ll find five new spring flavours, crafted using seasonal ingredients, to enjoy.
The new spring range from the sourdough doughnut specialist includes three new doughnut flavours and two new flavours of dough bites. They’re all available both individually and in a selection of doughnut boxes.
The three new doughnut flavours are:
Pineapple & Coconut (ve): Tangy pineapple glaze generously covers a vegan sourdough ring, which is then topped with toasted coconut chips for the perfect tropical-inspired treat.
Mango & Vanilla (ve): Crafted with vegan sourdough, filled with a creamy vanilla custard and coated in a ripe mango glaze, then hand-finished with candied mango pieces.
Coffee & Pecan Caramel: Bursting with a rich and creamy coffee custard, then dipped into a sweet, toasted caramel glaze, topped with a sprinkling of buttery pecan crumble.
Meanwhile, the two new dough bites are:
Plum & Cinnamon (ve): A tart plum compote is piped into sourdough dough, coated in a warming cinnamon glaze, and hand-finished golden vanilla crumble.
Hazelnut Praline & Mandarin Chilli (ve): Crosstown’s award-winning sourdough filled with an indulgent hazelnut praline custard, dipped in a mandarin and red chilli glaze, topped with a sprinkling of roasted and caramelised hazelnuts for the perfect toasty finish.
