Fancy finessing your food photography skills AND raising money for charity? Then this Bristol masterclass is for you!

The world’s biggest platform for buying and selling used photo and video kit, MPB, has teamed up with the world’s leading food photography and film awards, Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, to organise a truly mouthwatering food photography experience.

Esteemed Bristol food photographer, Rob Wicks, will host the class – which takes place from 9am to 4.30pm on Monday, April 3rd. In the morning session at the RWA attendees will learn the art of lighting, styling, storytelling, texture and post-production, before moving on to Poco Tapas Bar, Stokes Croft, to test out their new skills (and eat the tapas afterwards!)

Suitable for all levels of photographer who are interested in elevating existing skill sets or learning something new from a professional food photographer, the event has just 20 spaces so book quickly if you’re interested! You’ll also be able to borrow professional camera kit from MPB for the masterclass. Once you’ve honed your skills, you may even want to submit the images you’ve captured to Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year awards, 2024, which opens for entries at the end of the summer.

Tickets cost just £20 each with proceeds going to the Square Food Foundation, a Bristol-based charity that works to reduce hunger, improve health and bring people together through food and cooking.

For more information and to book your place, visit the MPB website.
