Free ice cream from Slug & Lettuce Bristol on August 19th

As part of their tour of the country, Slug & Lettuce will be bringing their ice cream van to Bristol on August 19th to dish out free ice creams.

On Friday, August 19th, the Slug & Lettuce ice cream van will be pulling up on Millennium Square to give away 500 free ice creams. What’s more, the first 30 people to visit the van will also receive a free exclusive goody bag, including a Beauty BLVD lipstick. While you’re there, you’ll also be able to scan a QR code that will entitle you to a free summer cocktail at Slug & Lettuce, to be redeemed by September 20th.

The ice cream van tour has been organised to celebrate the four new ice cream-themed cocktails on the Slug & Lettuce menu. Each inspired by a different ice cream, these will be available at all Slug & Lettuce bars until the end of September. In their words, the four new cocktails read as follows…

  • Fab You Lous: Feeling fruity? Cool off with a Fab You Lous. It’s pretty, it’s pink, and it’s totally FAB. Gordon’s Premium Pink gin, grenadine and strawberry syrup with lemon juice and pineapple juice, topped off with sprinkles (of course).
  • Mag Yum: Maybe you’re more in the mood for a Mag Yum. The classy lass of the ice creams, made with Smirnoff Red Label vodka, Disaronno Velvet cream liqueur and caramel syrup, finished with chocolate powder.
  • Slugero: For a taste of the exotic, take a sip of the Slugero – a little drop of sunshine mixed with Havana Club 3-year-old rum, Malibu coconut rum, passionfruit purée and mango juice, finished with squirty cream.
  • Tongue Twister: For the traditionalists, there’s the Tongue Twister – everyone’s favourite ice lolly with a boozy twist! Smirnoff Vanilla vodka, melon liqueur, lemon juice and apple juice, drizzled with grenadine.
