Free From Festival Bristol – from the team creating the UK’s only gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free events – is coming to Bristol on Saturday, March 19th.
The event will take place at Pennywell Project (BS5 0TL) from 11am to 6pm, with a line-up that includes 2016 MasterChef winner and author Jane Devonshire; food blogger and author James Wythe aka Healthy Living James; founder of coeliac-focused website Life on a Rice Cake, Bristol-based Ali Walsh; and nutritionist, chef and author Christine Bailey.
Free From Festival Bristol will also feature stalls selling all sorts of free-from products, including Belgian chocolate melting pots, healthy brownies and jam-stuffed bronuts from Co-Co Brownies; veggie-licious and choco-licious samosas plus other Indian food from Green Sisters; and free-from beers from lead sponsor, Daura Damm. You’ll find a full list of exhibitors here.
In terms of local businesses, also at Free From Festival Bristol will be Booja Booja Events serving their vegan ice cream from a tuk tuk, and Bath Culture House selling vegan cheese, kombucha, and fermented foods.
Tickets are available from the Free From Festival website, priced at £10 each, including a welcome drink. Book either for the morning session, with entry at 11am, or the afternoon session at 2.30pm.
