Bristol’s Gloucester Road wine bar, Cave, has teamed up with local business Ah-Ma’s Dumplings to launch Dim Sum Sundays, starting on Sunday, January 30th.
On January 30th – and on every other Sunday going forward – visitors to the Gloucester Road wine bar will be able to enjoy a feast of dumplings and dim sum dishes, all accompanied by wines from Cave’s menu.
The menu will be available from 12pm to 4pm, or until sold out, and there’s no need to book. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of dim sum dishes, including king oyster and garlic chive crystal dumplings, crab crystal dumplings, shiitake and cashew dumplings and more. Cave owner Martin Hagan will be proposing a selection of wines from small-scale sustainable producers to accompany the dim sum.
This collaboration follows a string of events that the two ran last year. Cave was designed as a multipurpose space, where visitors can perch for a quick glass of wine, stock up on provisions or sit and enjoy food and drink with friends for the entire evening. Ah-Ma’s, meanwhile, was founded by Anita Cheung, who makes handmade dim sum and Cantonese-style dishes from scratch using ethically and locally sourced South West produce.
