If you’re looking for a festive meal venue for the whole family to enjoy, take a look at what’s on offer at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm this year!
Located in Wraxall, the zoo farm has a packed Christmas calendar for the whole family to enjoy. Inspired by Age UK’s story of Terrence and the stats showing that 330,000 older people in the UK don’t look forward to Christmas because of loneliness, the zoo has set out to help.
Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is encouraging visitors to reach out to their elderly relatives and neighbours, with a special “Over 70s go free” offer until December 19th.
“I’m very proud to say that we’re able to give back to our community with help towards reaching out to those most lonely in our society. The zoo gives the perfect opportunity for a boost in wellbeing, with acres of outdoor space where guests can learn about animals and catch up on lost time.” says Larry Bush, Noah’s Ark’s Managing Director.
Also new for this year is the zoo’s Festive Fridays offer. Book yourselves in for a festive lunch on a Friday in December, and you’ll receive free entry to the zoo with your ticket.
The on-site farm shop is stocking locally-grown Christmas trees, logs, festive treats and hampers, and there are also reindeer talks and feeding sessions, as well as decorated trees with musical surprises, and plenty of education about the history of Christmas and Christmas traditions.
Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is open from 10.30am to 4pm until December 19th. Day tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £10.50 for children, with over 70s going free.
Festive Friday tickets must be pre-booked, and are priced at £18 for adults over 12 and £12 for children under 12 – including a festive meal plus free entry to the zoo.
