This September, the world’s first tequila taproom – courtesy of Jose Cuervo tequila – will be coming to Stokes Croft for three days, offering tequila cocktails and tequila masterclasses.
We’re all used to beers and ciders being served from taps, but in this pop-up at 11-13 Stokes Croft, open from September 17th-19th, you’ll be able to enjoy a tequila taproom experience, with a range of cocktails and long serves on offer.
As you’ll see from the mocked-up pic above, it’s going to be a pretty vibrant-looking place, with bold wall art, brightly coloured furniture and a tap bar to match…and as well as the cocktails, there’ll be table games and DJs providing the entertainment.
On offer will be classic tequila cocktails, all given the Jose Cuervo treatment with brand new names. Enjoy a Marg My Words (Margarita), Mexican Dynamite (Tequila & Tonic), Luchador Lemonade (Tequila & Lemonade), a Soda El Dorado (Tequila & Soda) or a Playa Del Paloma (Paloma).
Jose Cuervo will also be introducing their Tequila Educator, Oliver Pergl, who will be offering a tequila masterclass to boost visitors’ tequila knowledge. These masterclasses can be booked in advance, with the booking link set to be shared on the Jose Cuervo Instagram feed very soon.
The Jose Cuervo Tequila Taproom will be open from 12pm to 11pm on Friday, September 17th; 12pm to 11pm on Saturday, September 18th; and from 12pm to 9pm on Sunday, September 19th. Find them at 11-13 Stokes Croft (BS1 3PY).
