Wriggle Burger Week returns from 14-20 September, with exclusive deals, flash sales, competitions – and what’s being touted as Bristol’s most Instagrammable burger…
During last year’s Wriggle Burger Week, over 3,000 burgers were sold – and this year may be no different. Wriggle have teamed up with a huge number of big Bristol burger names, including The Burger Joint, Squeezed, Three Brothers, Pigsty, Bar44, Burger Theory and Chomp, to offer exclusive deals throughout the week, available through the Wriggle app.
On Monday 14th at 9am, 100 meals of burger and fries from Three Brothers will be available in a flash sale, priced at £3 each. Check out the app for a few sneaky offers that are already live – and head back to the app on Sunday night, when all of the other deals will be made available.
If you’re all about Instagramming your food, then check out the deal from Mugshot, who have been challenged by Wriggle to create the city’s most Instagrammable burger. Mugshot co-owner, Zowie Yip, says, “When Wriggle challenged us to create Bristol’s most Instagrammable burger, we knew it had to be something that encompassed what we’re about and really matched the Mugshot style. The restaurant is all about vintage 20’s dining glamour, with our shimmering chandeliers, so the burger had to match! We sourced edible gold leaf and are excited to unveil our super-Instagrammable golden burger in celebration of Wriggle Burger Week. We’ve got some special burger deals for the week too, so watch this space!”
Bristol Pantry (a Wriggle project launched during lockdown) will also be getting in on the action, giving you the chance to buy exclusive ingredients for home delivery. Bristol’s burger queen Natalie Brereton will be battling against some of Bristol’s food bloggers to create the best burger from Bristol Pantry ingredients, including beef from Popti & Beast, to the Mark’s Bread brioche rolls that are used at Squeezed.
Head to the Wriggle app to see what’s available!
