On Saturday, July 4th at 12pm, Bridewell Beer Garden – a new socially-distanced beer and food garden – is opening in the heart of Bristol’s city centre.

With plans to open from Friday to Sunday each week, Bridewell Beer Garden can be found on Silver Street, next door to Laser Fusion. They promise a huge open-air courtyard with street food vendors, live DJs, draught beer, frozen cocktails and music – and they also promise to be both relaxed AND safe.

Each week, the street food vendors – all local and independent businesses – will vary, and there will be plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available.

And they’re going to be pretty strict when it comes to social distancing, too. Anyone caught breaking social distancing rule will be asked to leave the venue immediately, making it a safe space for everyone.

Bridewell Beer Garden, as you’d expect, will operate a bit differently to a normal pub. Tables can be reserved for £20-£25, which will give you a two-hour booking (with 15 minutes of cleaning time at the end). Each table can seat up to six people (four minimum), consisting of either people from a single household, or from a maximum of two different households.

The venue will offer free table service, with local street food on offer every day they are open, plus Thatchers Cider slush on draught…
