Chef Romy Gill and 6 O’clock Gin have teamed up to create a new limited-edition gin, available from June 1st.
Indian chef Romy, who formerly owned Thornbury restaurant Romy’s Kitchen and is now best known for her Zaika cookbook and her television and newspaper appearances and cookery demos, has partnered with Thornbury-based 6 O’clock Gin to create an Indian-inspired tipple, which will be available to purchase from the 6 O’clock website from 10am on Monday, June 1st.
Named “Romy’s Edition”, this limited-edition gin will be available for six months only, and sees herbs and spices commonly found in Indian cooking combined with the juice of ripe mangoes, plus ginger and lime, to create a summery drink that evokes India’s unique flavours.
Priced at £38 for a 70ml bottle, Romy’s Edition 6 O’clock Gin will be on sale on June 1st – and there’ll be free delivery on every order from the 6 O’clock website that includes a bottle. Enjoy!
