This March, Tom Hunt – Executive Chef of Poco on Jamaica Street – will be launching his second book…along with a very special dinner to celebrate it.
His new cookbook – Eating for Pleasure, People & Planet – is available for pre-order via Amazon. It answers the question as to what a sustainable diet really is and demonstrates an easy way to achieve it, combining both practical information and everyday recipes “that consider how we farm, trade, eat and dispose of food”.
To celebrate the book’s launch, Poco will be hosting a special dinner at the restaurant on Tuesday, March 17th. Tom will kick off the evening with an introduction to the book, which will be followed by a set menu of dishes from the title, prepared by Poco head chef, Ian Clark. It’s also a chance for diners on the night to have a first look through Eating for Pleasure, People & Planet, too.
Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite, and are priced at £30 plus booking fee for early bird tickets, and then £35 plus booking fee thereafter.
Thank you so much for sharing with us.
