This Friday, February 14th, London collective The Umbrella Project will be coming to Bristol as part of a collaborative road trip.
They’ll be popping up with their east London bars – The Sun Tavern and Discount Suit Company – for a Valentine’s Special at Filthy XIII on Cheltenham Road, with their bartenders Ross Painter and Matt Green serving up a special six-strong cocktail menu.
On the menu, you’ll find the Winchester Goose (Black Cow vodka, French vermouth, Giffard Green Melon, Gooseberry Shrub), Put Ya Dukes Up John (Old Forester Bourbon, Bàn Poitin, Citrus, Giffard Banane du Brésil, Fourpure Juicebox), Three Tides (Rum, Amaro Montenegro, Citrus, Salted Mead Syrup, Herbersura) and their signature Beer and a Bump (Umbrella Brewing Ginger Beer and Sparkling Cider).
Also in attendance will be John Bandit of Umbrella Radio – a music industry stalwart who hosts shows for both The Sun Tavern and Discount Suit Company, and who has gigged and DJ’d across the globe. With a combination of soul & funk and rock ‘n’ roll, the atmosphere should be pretty special.
Head over to Filthy XIII between 5pm and 11.45pm on Friday, February 14th for this exciting collaboration!
