Love gin? Love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food? Then you’ll love Gin Tree, which is opening on Stokes Croft in early June.

As the name would suggest, there’s going to be a heavy focus on…well, gin. Their website states, “Every table with its own GinTree, ready to hold your drink and a specially designed drinks trolley allowing us to create the perfect Gin and Tonic at your table. It really is a talking point, it’s social, and it’s something a little bit different.”

Regional artisan gins plus bigger brands will both be on offer, served with a range of tonics and other mixers. There’ll also be a cocktail menu as well as freshly squeezed juices and more.

On the food front, nothing appears to be changing. 35-37 Stokes Croft is currently occupied by Almedina, and the Gin Tree food menu is exactly the same.  Expect hot and cold mezza dishes, sharing platters, grilled dishes and more – and there’s even a separate vegetarian and vegan menu, too.

As of the first weekend of June (unless things change), Gin Tree will be open from 5pm to 11pm Monday to Friday, and from 12pm to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram for updates…
