As of Saturday, April 20th, Creative Workspace on Queens Road, Withywood, will be home to new venture The Cog Cafe.
Located within community arts centre Creative Workspace, The Cog Cafe will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10am to 4pm. The team promise “a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks, wholesome simple vegetarian lunches, homemade cakes and child-friendly options” – along with free wifi and activities and toys for kids, too.
The Cog Cafe opened for a few days in January this year to support the Creative Workspace January programme of family arts activities. Some may remember that the cafe was up and running when Creative Workspace first opened, but now it has a whole new lease of life.
The cafe is supported by FareShare South West: a charity that collects surplus food from the food industry and redistributes it across the South West to charities, schools and community groups.
Head over to Creative Workspace and visit the cafe before 12pm on April 20th, and you’ll enjoy a free hot drink with any order.
