On Friday, May 10th, from 5pm to 10pm, the St Nick’s Night Market returns – and with some exciting new developments, too.
Visitors can expect to find the usual array of street food, crafts, local producers, live music and DJs and bars…with new venues and new companies to add to the mix.
This time round, the Sansovino Hall in the Harbour Hotel on Corn Street will be home to an array of local independent producers, offering a range of handmade chocolate, cheese and botanicals – along with local crafts – to buy. The regular traders in the Corn Exchange and the Glass Arcade will also be open for some late-night shopping.
Butcombe Brewery are also joining the Love Food Family, and along with selling their independently-brewed ales, they’ll be offering pub snacks including black pudding scotch eggs, mac ‘n’ cheese croquettes, and ox cheek and bone marrow nuggets. Talking of drinks, Espensen Spirit will be serving their locally-blended tipples, while Dick Willows will be providing the cider, and The Boardroom will be hosting a dedicated gin and tonic bar.
The main St Nick’s Night Market stage on the registry office steps will be curated by the Colston Hall, and there’ll be further live music and DJs throughout the market area.
Street food-wise, expect plant-based buns and nachos from Bun Fiction, decadent cheese toasties from Grate, free-range buttermilk-fried chicken wings from Gurt Wings, Ah Mah’s dim sum and more…
Should be a fun night!
