The Corner 77 site on Stokes Croft is now completely unrecognisable, as Season & Taste – the team behind the venture – work to transform it into lively new Mexican cantina Mesa + Mezcal.
77-79 Stokes Croft will house the new cantina, promising “great food, margaritas and ice cold beer”. As you’ll guess from the name, mezcal – a drink crafted from the agave plant – will be the core focus of the drinks menu, either served neat to explore different varieties, or in cocktails.
And the masa? Well, that refers to the corn dough that’s the basis of a true Mexican tortilla – and members of the team have spent time in Mexico learning all they need to know about Mexican food and drink…learn more here!
