Totterdown residents…you’re soon to have a new brewery and taproom on your doorsteps, as the Cocksure Brewing Co is relocating to central Bristol.
The guys at Cocksure Brewing are relocating from their existing premises in Oldbury on Severn, having been handed the keys to their new place (which, from this photo, I think is on the Totterdown Bridge Trading Estate) in late August. There’s no news of an actual opening date yet, but they’re sharing progress updates via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – so go give them a follow!
Cocksure is a pretty new brewery – their first brew began in January 2017. Since then, they’ve created five different beers: their Pale Ale, Session IPA, Amber Session, IPA and the intriguing Nitro Cold Brew Stout, which is brewed using cold brew coffee and, they say, has a “smooth, rich and chocolatey taste”.
Bristol’s become known for its craft beer scene, and it’ll be great to have another centrally-located brewery and taproom to add to the mix – best of luck with the pre-opening prep, guys!
