The Gallimaufry team are bringing something new and exciting to Gloucester Road this September, with the opening of Suncraft expected at the start of the month.
At 39 Gloucester Road – most recently the home of the Streetfood & Floating Market restaurant – work is taking place to transform the premises into a 100% plant-based venture, “influenced by forward thinking, health conscious food culture from around the world”.
The team promise they’ll be serving a range of fresh bowls, wraps, salads and probiotic drinks, which will be made on-site.
It may be owned by the Gallimaufry team (and located pretty much directly opposite), but Suncraft will offer something totally different to Gloucester Road diners.
Meanwhile, The Gallimaufry has announced that Maddie Crombie has taken over the helm in the kitchen, creating a weekly-changing menu of sharing plates, main dishes, sides and desserts. New sharing dishes include chicken & tarragon croquettes and broccoli & quinoa falafel; while those visiting for dinner can choose from creations like soy & ginger cauliflower with coconut rice, chilli, pickles & baby gem lettuce, or hake fillet with butter bean ribollita.
