As of Thursday, June 21st, The Bristol Cookhouse on Gloucester Road will throw its doors open for early evening dining three nights a week.
Since opening in April 2018, The Bristol Cookhouse has opened as a daytime café with monthly supper clubs. Now, though – thanks to popular demand, and the promise of rising temperatures in the South West – founder and chef Sam Waterhouse has decided to open for early evening meals from 5pm to 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer.
There’s a wide variety of dishes on offer for those taking advantage of the new opening times, with the menu featuring options like chana dahl with crispy shallots, mustard seeds, herbed cauliflower rice and house chutney; marinated chicken or tofu with Vietnamese peanut sauce, herbed courgetti and nuac mam cham; or a superfoods salad bowl topped with a choice of grilled salmon, marinated chicken, crispy tofu, halloumi or chorizo. There’s also a selection of wines from Bristol’s Billing & Briggs on offer, as well as beers, ciders, soft drinks and more.
To book, call The Bristol Cookhouse on 0117 942 0250.
