As of Wednesday, May 23rd, Vietnamese food lovers will be able to get their fix when visiting Broadmead, thanks to the arrival of BIG BAÖ.
Located in Kiosk 2B, BIG BAÖ will be serving up all sorts of Vietnamese street food favourites, alongside a whole host of different bubble teas.
The way the food menu works is simple: choose your main (Banh Mi, a bao bun or a rice box), then select your filling, with options including slow-cooked pork belly, tofu, braised beef, and their special: a combination of chicken liver pâté, Vietnamese sausage, aromatic duck and charsiu roast pork. There’s a chicken curry on offer for those who want something different, and summer rolls on the side, too. Mains are priced between £3.50 and £5, which seems pretty reasonable!
The bubble teas at BIG BAÖ are priced at £3 for a regular or £3.50 for a large, with a choice of three brewed teas making up the base of their milk and fruit tea options. There are six different toppings to choose from too, from mango popping bubbles to lychee coconut jelly.
At the time of writing, their opening hours hadn’t yet been confirmed – follow them on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook to find out more!
