On the evening of Tuesday, May 8th, Kirk Haworth of London plant-based pop-up Plates will be joining the Root team to create a six-course vegan tasting menu.
Kirk will join Root head chef Rob Howell at the Cargo-based restaurant for an evening designed to showcase signature dishes from both chefs.
Priced at £50 per head, spaces are available now and include a six-course vegan tasting menu, accompanied by views of both the Floating Harbour and the chefs hard at work in the open plan kitchen.
Expect dishes such as organic leeks, green grapes and land grass alongside crispy potato, new season asparagus, butterbean and wild garlic, and, for dessert, a coconut trifle, organic cacoa, rhubarb and hibiscus.
