Massive congratulations to the team at Paco Tapas, who have been awarded a Michelin Star at this year’s 2018 Michelin Guide launch.

One of three restaurants owned by the Casamia team (along with Casamia and Pi Shop), Paco Tapas only opened in November 2016 – it’s a massive achievement to receive this accolade under a year down the line. It was the brainchild of Peter Sanchez-Iglesias and his brother Jonray, who sadly passed away in 2015 after a battle with cancer.
Named after their father, Paco Tapas serves a regularly changing menu of traditional tapas with more modern interpretations, plus a fantastic list of sherries that can be enjoyed either on their own or as some truly fantastic cocktails.
Sister restaurant Casamia also retained its one Michelin Star, with the pair joining Wilks and the Pony & Trap to give Bristol four one-star restaurants. The question is, who will be next…?
