On Sunday, October 29th, Love Food Festival will be celebrating the turn of the season and the clocks going back with plenty of tasty autumnal treats.
It’s time once again to get cosy with a Dick Willows mulled cider, stock up on beautiful local produce, enjoy some of the best street food Bristol has to offer and spend time with friends and family.
On the day, there will be chutneys and sauces from Gingerbeards, local cheese from The Somerset Deli, cakes from The Cake Sisters, local charcuterie from The Cotswold Curer, fish and shellfish from Devon Fishcakes, kombucha from Balanced Nature and plenty more to take home.
There will also be street food stalls to include paella from Socarrat, tortas from Los Hermanos and jerk chicken from Agnes Spencer’s.
Local award winning chef Jo Ingleby will be running some delicious workshops that will include pumpkin ravioli, butter making and apple crumble workshops for budding young chefs and their families, while local experts will also be on hand to offer talks and workshops to those who attend. These include a cider talk and tasting from Dick Willows, information on how to stay well in the colder months from nutritionist Gay Darke, the magic of wild food from Liz Knight of Forage, and seasonal autumnal food chat from Lia Leendertz, who will be bringing her new Almanac to life.
The Love Food Festival guys are teaming up with Made In Bristol on the day to feature plenty of arts and crafts stalls too, so there’s something for everyone. Find out more on the Love Food Festival website.
