This autumn, Keynsham’s new Chocolate Quarter will become home to all-day restaurant B Block, specialising in wood-fired pizzas, quality coffee and local produce.
The 60-cover restaurant is the brainchild of Bristol chefs Adrian Kirikmaa and Ben Sacree and will be open from 7.30am to 9.30pm daily. The breakfast menu will include coffee from Brian Wogan, freshly-made smoothies, bread and pastries, while at lunchtime diners will be able to enjoy authentic wood-fired pizzas, salads, flatbreads and paninis. In the evenings, the menu will feature various starters alongside seasonal and locally-sourced meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, with wines, gins, local ciders and craft beers also available.
Josh Eggleton has helped to create the B Block concept and define its offering. When the restaurant opens, you’ll find it in Keynsham’s brand new Chocolate Quarter – a development on the site of the former Fry’s and Cadbury’s chocolate factory. We’ve been told to expect bespoke furniture, salvaged light fittings, ironwork and reclaimed decorative items to give B Block – which will be housed within one of the original factory buildings – a stripped back, industrial feel.
