From 11am to 5pm on Saturday, October 7th, Windmill Hill City Farm will be hosting their annual Autumn Fair with plenty for the family to enjoy.
With adult tickets priced at £3 and children’s tickets free of charge, expect local bands and musicians, a BBQ and bar, a market selling local produce and all sorts of activities, crafts and games.
The farm’s Old Dairy will be hosting traditional butter making and apple pressing for the kids, while they’ll also be able to sculpt mud and make magic potions in the community gardens.
Kalpna Woolf from 91 Ways will be demonstrating recipes from her new book in the outdoor kitchen, and the market will be selling locally made goods, including food, drink and more.
If you’re hungry, you’ll be able to enjoy locally sourced, seasonal food from the Windmill Hill City Farm café, or from Farmer Tim’s BBQ, which’ll be serving up the farm’s own ethical rose veal burgers. And there’ll be a bar with local beers, ales and wines too – alongside live music from local musicians.
